The BUILD Nehemiah Action is Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Heritage Hall. Doors open at 6:15pm and the program starts at 7:00pm. We expct our state legislators to be present to see our concerns for the current payday lending practice of 391% interest, now legal in KY. We expect our payor and police chief and other officials to be present to hear our concerns and proposal to address crime and drug related violence in Lexington neighborhoods. The new director of affordable housing will be there to update us on last year's fabulous win. We need to be there to show our officials that we want KY and Lexington to be a place where people can live safe and full lives. It will be a wonderful night! We'll carpool from MQ starting at 5:45 - 6:10pm. Parking at the High St. lot and the lot behind the Mary Todd Lincolm house is free. Contact Kabby Akers for more information (223-8887).
