“Who is a Christian steward? One who receives God’s gifts gratefully, cherishes and tends them in a responsible and accountable manner, shares them in justice and love with others, and returns them with increase to the Lord.”

Diocesan Stewardship Prayer

Lord, we thank you for calling us together to be your Church,
to further your Kingdom here on earth.
You give us all we have and all we need.
Unite us to you and to one another.
Grant us the wisdom to recognize
the depth and truth of our own potential.
Give success to our efforts to share our time and our talents
so we may build for the future of our Church community.
Since you have blessed us in so many ways,
help us return these gifts with grateful hearts.

In the name of Jesus, our Lord, Amen.
